Meet Our Team

Eleanor Medina, MA

Hi!

I'm Eleanor Medina. It's wonderful to welcome you to The Makaranda Method, a unique, nature-based therapeutic approach. Unlike traditional therapists or coaches who often ask "What's wrong?" we believe you are whole; and you need guidance to support the next chapter of your life.

With our Method, you learn tools like mindfulness meditation, somatic therapy (listening to the body), shadow work, plant medicines, manifestation practices and loving-kindness practices to empower you on your journey of self-discovery.

We believe the answers you seek are already inside you; we teach you to listen to yourself so you can trust your next step. If you're ready to look within for transformative growth, you're in the right place.

I look forward to connecting with you!

Jon Medina, Vibration

Hi! My name is Jon Medina and I am an artist, designer, musician and creative. I call myself an ontological designer. Together, my wife Eleanor and I hold retreats.

Our goal is to support our retreat guests to reconnect to themselves and to vibration. Everything is vibration, sound is vibration, and music is vibration. Music is my most studied and treasured art form.

On the retreats, I bring my Traction Sound System and I offer live DJ sets playing to the energy of the room. Each DJ set is different depending on the private or group session. I am also the organic chef, who makes sure you are nourished for the whole retreat experience. I love this work and I am honored to hold this space with you.
